“We had an amazing experience at this hotel, the staff was amazing, the amenities as well. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast very much. We will definitely come back.”

“Clean room, excellent breakfast, friendly property manager, very good staff at the Donald Ross bar and at breakfast. This is an ‘old school’, wonderful inn, like going back to the old South and gentleman golf, when being an amateur player was highly respected and playing for money was frowned upon”

“The property is pretty run down. And the security was terrible. There's a sign by the side door that says a key card is required to gain entrance, but the card reader is missing (just a hole below the sign with wires coming out of it), and the door was unlocked at all times. Also, when I went by the front desk a couple of times, there was no one there, so there's no one even watching the front door at times. Also, the dead bolt on my room door didn't work, so I was relying on just the interior...

“Definitely will book here again. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotel was very clean as well.”

“Was a good stay.”

“Noisy”

“Everything was top tier”

“Staff was excellent! Room comfortable!”

“i hate barn doors fo bathroom.. no privacy no way to lock not sound proof.. I will not stay there agian because of that.”

“The room looked great until I found a hair on the bed. I called the front desk for housekeeping to bring fresh sheets. I was told that housekeeping was not available in the evening. Then the clerk assured me that the hair on the bed belonged to someone from housekeeping, how could she have known that? Also, the hotel had one elevator working. The breakfast was great, had good options. Craig at the front desk was AWESOME!!”

“Clean room, friendly staff, and very close to downtown Raleigh”

“While the staff is as super nice and welcoming, the property is older. It wasn't really dirty but not sparkling clean either. Our bedding was nice and a crisp but our bathroom could've benefited from a deep clean. It was quiet and comfortable though and we did get good rest while there.”
